The Story Behind the Work
A Family Tradition
For Brian Shaughnessy, painting has always been more than a trade. It began at age seven, working alongside his father, a Waltham firefighter who ran a neighborhood painting business with fellow firefighters—including Brian's uncle Jack.
Those early years shaped the values he still brings to every project: reliability, pride in his work, attention to detail, and respect for the customer.
Throughout his career, Brian has worked on beautiful residential interiors, centuries-old homes, and major projects including Boston's Big Dig and Harvard University facilities. Today, he brings that depth of experience and personal care to homeowners.
“I treat every home as if it were my own.”— Dick Shaughnessy
Brian’s father, who instilled in him the values of pride, respect, and care for every home.
